Your first visit — what to know

First visits are easy. We aim to run on time, keep things comfortable, and explain everything before we do it. Here's what to expect and what to bring.

In pain or have an emergency? Skip the form — call us and we'll get you in as fast as we can. Walk-ins are always welcome.

What to bring

Four things — that's it

  • Insurance card

We'll verify your coverage before treatment.

  • Photo ID

Driver's license, state ID, or passport — any government-issued ID.

  • Medication list

Any prescriptions, OTC meds, or supplements you take. Helps us keep you safe.

  • Referral or X-rays (if any)

If you have recent X-rays from another dentist, bring them — we may not need to retake them.

Forgot your insurance card? No problem — we can look it up with your plan name and member ID.

What to expect

Step by step

  1. 1

    Check-in

Arrive a few minutes early to fill out a short patient form (contact info and dental history — nothing sensitive).

  2. 2

    X-rays

We may take digital X-rays — fast, low-radiation, and reviewed with you on-screen so you can see exactly what we see.

  3. 3

    Exam

The dentist does a thorough exam: teeth, gums, bite, and jaw. We point out anything that needs attention and talk through options — no pressure.

  4. 4

    Cleaning (if scheduled)

A cleaning usually follows the exam. We'll let you know upfront if we need to split the visit.

  5. 5

    Next steps

Before you leave, we cover any recommended treatment, answer your questions, and schedule your next visit.
